Welcome to Brush Creek Aquaponics,

former home of Rover the Duck and her sisters.

Our Duck Eggs and More! products currently include

  • homemade soap and Soothing Milk Bath
  • button badges for all occasions
  • greeting cards and bookmarks from photos of our ducks, plants, and surroundings

We are located in Riner, Virginia, just outside of Pilot, in the beautiful mountains of southwestern Virginia, 18 miles south of Virginia Tech.

Our ducks have moved one county over, but they still thrive on

  • fresh air
  • sunshine and rain
  • greens (no pesticides)
  • non-chlorinated well water
  • locally-produced grain
  • and as many bugs as they can catch!

Our very own Rover the Duck was the official mascot of the Shawsville Farmers' Market, in Shawsville, Virginia. She attended the Market each week until her retirement. The Market is open every Saturday, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., May 6 - October 7, 2017.

You used to be able to find our duck eggs at Eats Natural Foods in Blacksburg, Virginia, with the picture of Rover the Duck on the carton. Ours were the duck eggs with the feather inside. Did you collect the whole set?
